The lovely girls featured in our new portrait collection lived in an era when beauty really WAS beautiful.

This one features the gorgeous, curly-headed Mary Pickford with a kitten on her shoulder... my kind of girl!  The "frame" is an ornate antique silver alloy pendant tray measuring 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/4 high. Matching antique silver chain is included.

Your necklace will arrive carded, in an organza bag for presentation. Kindly allow 3-5 days for completion of this custom piece.

A note about copyright: the images we have selected for this collection are original ones and more than 70 years old and therefore in the public domain. There is no copyright infringement here.

Curious whose lovely face you'll be wearing? Here's a little background!

Gladys Louise Smith (April 8, 1892 – May 29, 1979), known professionally as Mary Pickford, was a Canadian-born American film actress and producer. With a career spanning 50 years, she was a co-founder of both the Pickford–Fairbanks Studio (along with Douglas Fairbanks) and, later, the United Artists film studio (with Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin and D. W. Griffith), and one of the original 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences who present the yearly "Oscar" award ceremony.
